When Twitter introduced their infamous “Retweet” functionality, there had already been a community driven tradition to retweet friends’ messages to pass them along.
Twitter has gone against its own community and introduced something absolutely misleading with the same name. Since there there has been a huge confusion: what is “RT @someone” versus “Retweeted by” mark in one’s stream.
